Physical Card Activation Guide

A must-read guide after receiving your physical card. We will walk you through setting your PIN, and completing the initial activation.

Once you receive your physical card, please follow these steps to activate it.

Physical Card Activation Steps

  • Go to Card Management: After logging into your Wasabi account, click the "Card" tab on the left navigation bar to access the "My Cards" dashboard.

  • Locate the Unactivated Card: In your card list, you can filter by "Unactivated" status to quickly find your newly received physical card.

  • Open the Activation Pop-up: Click the "More" (three dots) icon in the top right corner of the target card, and select "Activate Card" from the dropdown menu.

  • Enter Physical Card Number (Step 1/3): In the "Activate Now" pop-up, check the information on the back of your physical card. Enter your complete card number into the input field, then click the green next arrow button at the bottom right.

  • Set Your Card PIN (Step 2/3): Set your 6-digit PIN on this screen.

    • Note: This PIN acts as your "ATM/POS Password". Please memorize it carefully!

    • Tip: If an ATM only supports a 4-digit password during your transaction, simply enter the first 4 digits of this PIN.

    • After entering, click the green next arrow button.

  • Enter Email Activation Code to Complete (Step 3/3): An activation email will be sent to your registered email address. Check your inbox for the 8-digit activation code, enter it into the text field, and click the green Checkmark (Confirm) button to fully complete the activation!

💡 Operations Tips:

  • Please make sure to enter the actual card number printed on your physical card. Do not use the masked number (with ***) displayed in the system interface.

  • Always set your PIN in a secure and private environment. Never share your PIN with anyone.

  • Ensure your account is in an active status or has sufficient funds before proceeding with the activation.

Q1: Why does it show activation failure after entering the card number?

A: Please verify that there are no accidental spaces or invalid characters in the input field. Ensure you are typing the number from the back of the physical card. If it still fails, please reach out to our customer support.

Q2: What should I do if I cannot find the 8-digit activation code in my email?

A: Please check your "Spam" or "Promotions" folder. Also, verify that the email address displayed on the screen matches the one you are currently checking.

Q3: Is there any fee for card activation?

A: Activating your physical card is entirely free of charge. However, please ensure your card complies with any regular usage or deposit requirements for your specific card type.
