I. Fund Management Guidelines
WasabiCard utilizes a "Dual-Account Structure" for asset management, with the US Dollar (USD) serving as the primary settlement currency. User fund management adheres to the following core logic:
Total Wallet Balance: Represents the user's asset ownership on the platform. After depositing on-chain assets (e.g., USDT/USDC), funds are collected into this total balance. This layer is for storage and transfer only; it cannot be used directly for payments.
Card Available Balance: Represents specific payment authorization limits. Card spending requires transferring funds from the Total Wallet Balance to the specific Visa or Mastercard channel. Funds not allocated to a card cannot be accessed by merchants.
Fund Recovery Policy: Due to security and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk control considerations, card balances and the total wallet account are not instantly interchangeable. All requests to transfer funds back from a card to the wallet must pass a compliance review before processing.
For detailed information regarding deposit procedures and interaction flows, please refer to the WasabiCard User Guide for illustrated instructions.
II. Card Status Definitions
WasabiCard monitors card lifecycles in real-time and defines the following statuses to ensure payment security:
Unactivated: The card has been issued but the activation process has not been completed. It is inactive and cannot be used for any transactions.
Normal: The card status is healthy, successfully mounted on the Visa/Mastercard payment network, and capable of real-time payments.
Frozen / Freezing: Payment permissions are temporarily suspended due to security risks or user request. This status can be restored based on compliance verification results.
Blocked: A system-enforced protection triggered by security anomalies (e.g., consecutive CVV/expiry date verification failures). Must contact customer support for identity verification to unblock.
Canceling / Canceled: The card is in the terminal phase of its lifecycle. "Canceling" indicates it is in the settlement period; "Canceled" indicates all functions are permanently closed.
III. Safety and Risk Control Policy
WasabiCard is committed to building a compliant and stable payment environment. Users must strictly adhere to the following policies:
Compliance Usage Commitment: Using cards for illegal gambling, money laundering, fraud, or any transactions violating international financial compliance standards (e.g., OFAC sanctions lists) is strictly prohibited. The platform reserves the right to restrict services in sanctioned regions (e.g., North Korea, Iran, etc.).
Risk Control Interception Mechanism: The intelligent risk control engine screens every transaction across multiple dimensions (IP location, Merchant Category Code (MCC), transaction frequency, CVC verification, etc.). High-risk transactions will trigger 3DS authentication or be blocked directly.
Enforcement Authority: If an account exhibits frequent invalid card testing, abnormal chargeback rates, or suspected illicit asset activity, the platform reserves the right to take mandatory measures without prior notice, including but not limited to freezing funds, canceling cards, restricting account functionality, or submitting compliance reports.
IV. Card Cancellation and Settlement Policy
Card cancellation is an irreversible procedure. Due to account security and compliance clearing considerations, this operation is not available via self-service. Users must contact official customer support, and the cancellation will be initiated manually by the backend team following identity verification. The cancellation procedure adheres to international prepaid card clearing standards:
30-Day Clearing Period: Upon submission of the cancellation request, the card immediately ceases transaction permissions and enters a 30-day clearing period. This period accounts for potential delayed merchant deductions, pre-authorization settlements, or chargeback disputes.
Balance Settlement and Refund: After the clearing period, the system calculates the final balance on the card. Remaining funds will be automatically credited to the user's Total Wallet Balance. If over-deductions occur during the clearing period resulting in a negative balance, the platform will deduct the corresponding amount from the Total Wallet Balance to cover the deficit.
V. Service and Support Guidelines
WasabiCard’s service system is divided into "Regulatory Standards" and "Operational Guide":
Regulatory Standards: This document. It establishes the product logic, fee standards, security protocols, and compliance baseline.
Operational Guide & FAQ: For specific interactive processes such as card issuance, deposits, usage, troubleshooting, and frequently asked questions, please refer to the WasabiCard User Guide, Mobile Payment Binding & Troubleshooting Guide, and Troubleshooting & Security Regulations.

VI. User Access and Compliance Obligations
WasabiCard is committed to maintaining a secure financial ecosystem. All users must fulfill the following obligations before using the service:
Identity Verification Requirement: The platform strictly enforces international financial compliance standards. Before registration and card issuance, users must complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process to ensure that account information is authentic and valid.
Information Update Obligation: If user identity information changes (e.g., passport renewal, address change), users must proactively contact customer support to synchronize information to prevent account limitations due to compliance gaps.
VII. Fee Schedule and Benefits Explanation
Regulations regarding service costs, benefits, and adjustment mechanisms are as follows:
Fee and Limit Inquiry: For specific amounts regarding service fees (issuance, monthly maintenance, deposit, foreign exchange spreads, etc.) and transaction limits, please refer to the WasabiCard Core Fees, Benefits, and Limits Handbook.
Adjustment Notification Mechanism: The platform reserves the right to adjust fees based on market conditions. Users will be notified of any adjustments via the official website or account notifications prior to implementation.
